The 11th annual Monumental Tournament of Aces was the coldest ever with snow and ice on the fairways but the greens were cleared by watering them before the tournament began. As conditions improved the MTA went on to raise $81,000.00 vor the Variety Club East End Centennial Park, Rotary Club of Cochrane, Cochrane Search & Rescue and LLKMF. So this is it! The final Monumental Tournament of Aces held on October 4 at LOG with over 180 golfers dressed up as cowboys and cowgirls. Once again the tournament supported two great local charities - Cochrane & Area Health Foundation and Cochrane Public Library. The 25th and final ACE was made and perhaps it is fitting the number of hole in ones over 18 years was the same as Lindsay's jersey number!. All of the 25 flags used in the tournament all these years were presented to family, friends, organizers and long time sponsors. Thanks to all who supported Lindsay's legacy on the golf course since 2008. The Kimmett family will have many fond memories of the first Saturday in October. MTA 16 took place on Saturday, September 30 at The Links of Gleneagles with 180 golfers enduring a cool, rainy day to raise over $85,000.00 benefitting The Friends of Glenbow Education Society, Big Hill Lodge. BGC Cochrane and Friends of Westbrook School Society.

On Saturday October 2nd 169 golfers enjoyed a spectacular fall day at The Links of Gleneagles and with the amazing contributions of sponsors, golfers and volunteers $80,000.00 was raised for community projects. The primary beneficiary was Big Hill Haven Women's Shelter. 2021MTAThankyou
The 13th annual MTA was held during the Covid 19 epidemic and it was definitely different with a much smaller group of golfers playing a scramble format within their 4-6 player cohorts. As you can see in the scorecard note from tournament chairman Glen Gryzko there was still more than $25,000.00 raised for the Cochrane Activettes. 2020MTAProgram
